Certified Manager of
Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) Refresher The Certified
Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence is a professional who leads and
champions process-improvement initiatives—everywhere from small businesses to
multinational corporations—that can have regional or global focus in a
variety of service and industrial settings.
A Certified
Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence facilitates and leads team
efforts to establish and monitor customer/supplier relations, supports
strategic planning and deployment initiatives, and helps develop measurement
systems to determine organizational improvement.

Certified Quality
Improvement Associate Refresher -Basic Quality-The Certified Quality Improvement
Associate is an individual who has a basic knowledge of quality tools and
their uses. The Associate is involved
in quality improvement projects but does not necessarily come from a
traditional quality area. To obtain
certification, a candidate must take a written examination that measures
comprehension of the Body Of Knowledge.
The examination takes three hours and has 100 multiple-choice
questions. It is offered in the
English language only. Each attendee
will receive a CQIA Primer.

Certified Quality Technician (CQT) Refresher This Course is designed to enhance the job skills
of every participant, as well as enable the Quality Professional to pass
ASQ’s Certified Quality Technician (CQT) exam. Class time is spent touching on every facet of the sanctioned
Body of Knowledge (BOK). In addition,
there is special emphasis placed on sections dealing with math concepts,
i.e., Probability /Basic Statistics, Sampling Principles, Control Charts,
etc. As part of the course, each
student will be provided a detailed study guide, solutions workbook, class
handouts, plus numerous tips on how best to prepare and take the test.

Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) Refresher
The Six Sigma Green Belt operates in support of or under the
supervision of a Six Sigma Black Belt, analyzes and solves quality problems
and is involved in quality improvement projects. A Green Belt is someone with
at least three years of work experience who wants to demonstrate his or her
knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes.

Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) Refresher The Certified Quality Inspector is an
inspector who, in support of and under the direction of quality engineers,
supervisors, or technicians, can use the proven techniques included in the
body of knowledge. Under professional direction, the Quality Inspector
evaluates hardware documentation, performs laboratory procedures, inspects
products, measures process performance, records data and prepares formal
reports.

Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) Refresher The Certified Software Quality
Engineer is a professional who has comprehensive understanding of software
quality development and implementation, a thorough understanding of software
inspection, testing, verification, and validation, and can implement software
development and maintenance processes and methods.

Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
(CSSBB) Refresher The
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt is a professional who can explain Six Sigma
philosophies and principles, including supporting systems and tools. A Black
Belt should demonstrate team leadership, understand team dynamics and assign
team member roles and responsibilities. Black Belts have a thorough
understanding of all aspects of the DMAIC model in accordance with Six Sigma
principles. They have basic knowledge of Lean enterprise concepts, are able
to identify non-value-added elements and activities and are able to use
specific tools

Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Refresher The Certified Quality Engineer
understands the principles of product and service quality evaluation and
control. He/She is involved in the
development and operation of quality control systems, and application and
analysis of testing and inspection procedures. In addition, the CQE has the
ability to use metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct
improper quality control practices. Furthermore, the CQE has the
understanding of human factors and motivation, facility with quality cost
concepts and techniques, and the knowledge and ability to develop and
administer management information systems and to audit quality systems for
deficiency identification and correction.

Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) Refresher The Certified Quality Auditor is a
professional who understands the standards and principles of auditing and the
auditing techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating, and reporting to
determine a quality system’s adequacy and deficiencies. The Certified Quality Auditor analyzes all
elements of a quality system and judges its degree of adherence to the
criteria of industrial management and quality evaluation and control systems. Please note changes in the body of
knowledge/exam that became effective in June 2004.

Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA) Refresher The Certified Quality Process Analyst is
a paraprofessional who, in support of and under the direction of quality
engineers or supervisors, analyzes and solves quality problems and is
involved in quality improvement projects. A Certified Quality Process Analyst
may be a recent graduate or someone with work experience who wants to
demonstrate his or her knowledge of quality tools and processes
